David Sirota’s most compelling argument is that ways must be found to transform the uprising (with its various tendencies) into a democratic social movement. That movement must work to apply systematic pressure on the next administration. That is the only way the Beltway Wall around Washington, DC will be dismantled although putting it this way should not ignore the great degree to which it is corporate power that is served in the process.
