David Sedaris is a regular contributor to The New Yorker and Public Radio International’s This American Life, and is the bestselling author of Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Naked, and Barrel Fever. Sedaris reads from and discusses his new book When You Are Engulfed in Flames. Love how you can find the humor in the everyday idioticies of life.
funny, entertaining, ok let’s face it, it was so funny it made me pee a little bit maybe I should see a Dr? anyway I am reading When you are Engulfed in Flames for my bookclub my fav so far was the old lady Helen in the same apt building I have known a few Helen-esque people myself!
I got an e-mail today from the leader of our church book club. We were to read this one next, but she said the book was inappropriate and was guilty of false advertising. So, we’re voting for a replacement. I hadn’t even started this book, but now I’m curious as to what all the fuss is about.
